Join Tufts University Art Galleries in collaboration with The Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ+ Advancement for Imaging as Activism: A Panel with Craig Bailey and Sherry Edwards, co-moderated by Daunasia Yancey and Jackson Davidow, a program featuring a panel with photographer Craig Bailey and artist Sherry Edwards in dialogue with Daunasia Yancey, Deputy Director for the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ+ Advancement and guest curator of As the World Burns: Queer Photography and Nightlife in Boston, Jackson Davidow. The panel conversation will focus on strategies of queer artmaking and photography in dialogue with activism. Following the panel, The Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ+ Advancement will host a tabling event focused on youth empowerment.
