Tufts University’s Public Art Program is designed to enrich the campus experience with existing, gifted or newly commissioned artworks in public areas throughout the university which connects landscape, architecture, and the programmatic uses of our spaces through artworks to provide opportunities for learning and engagement.

The collection includes outdoor sculptures Planar Mountain by Richard Hunt and a life-size Jumbo by Stephen Whyte, as well as temporary billboard projects across our Medford and Boston / SMFA campuses, produced over the years by artists Zoe Leonard, Kameelah Janan Rasheed, Sofía Córdova, Elizabeth James Perry and Denilson Baniwa.
