First Juried Summer Exhibition 2004

The Tufts Art Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of twenty area artists celebrating the vitality of the communities surrounding Tufts University. This group of professionally trained artists employs a diverse array of mediums and techniques. Their creative body of work echoes larger concerns of contemporary art and culture. This exhibition inaugurates an annual juried summer exhibition series and was juried by Amy Ingrid Schlegel, the new director of galleries and collections as well as adjunct faculty in the Museum Studies Program and Department of Art and Art History at Tufts University. An opening reception and community open house will be held on Friday, June 11, 5:00-8:30pm and is free and open to the public.
