Elizabeth James Perry: Double Arrows |
|
Don’t miss the last week of Double Arrows at SMFA at Tufts before it closes Sunday, November 12. The exhibition features the work of Elizabeth James-Perry, an enrolled member of the Aquinnah Wampanoag, and lifelong traditional artist, scientist, and illustrator who engages with Northeastern Woodlands Native cultural expressions. Double Arrows—invoking the dynamic image of a line with arrow points at both ends—is James-Perry calling forth a visually evocative concept of acknowledging our shared space and human interdependencies with the natural world.
