We can’t wait to welcome you to TUAG / Medford to celebrate Beverly Semmes: Boulders / Flag / Flip / Kick. Please join us Thursday, September 18, for an artist conversation followed by a community-wide reception. We are pleased to share that parking will be free without Tufts Parking registration for this special event. Make sure to RSVP and park in the following locations: Jackson Lot (behind the galleries), Lower Campus Garage (under the tennis courts), Granoff Lot, Dowling Garage, or Cousens Lot. Boulders / Flag / Flip / Kick presents the most comprehensive survey of Semmes’ work to date, beginning in her student days at Tufts, where she tested ideas of ephemerality, scale, and representation in the itinerate installation Boulders, to her most recent fabric installations, ceramics, and paintings that continue to explore issues of female visibility and presence. Learn more and please RSVP at the link below: RECEPTION + ARTIST CONVERSATION Join us for a public conversation at 6PM with exhibiting artist Beverly Semmes and exhibition curators TUAG Director Dina Deitsch and Camilo Alvarez, followed by a reception celebrating the exhibition. Register for the Reception + Artist Conversation here. Beverly Semmes: Boulders / Flag / Flip / Kick is curated by Dina Deitsch, TUAG Director, with the artist Beverly Semmes, Camilo Alvarez, and Deniz Bora, and generously supported by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. |
