Happy Last Day of Classes! Our spring exhibitions are around the corner: Michelle Lopez: Shadow of a Doubt, will be on view at our Medford galleries from January 15–April 19, 2026 and Magical Thinking, of Systems and Beliefs, will be on view at our SMFA/Boston galleries from January 29–April 19, 2026. These thought-provoking exhibitions showcase a range of media—from video and sound installations to sculpture and drawings—and offer critical examinations of the limitations of conventional systems of power, while proposing alternative approaches to thinking beyond these systems. These exhibitions are accompanied by a slate of exciting programming engaging cross-disciplinary themes. From a panel on the research behind a site-specific performance at Boston’s African Meeting House to a sound installation and participatory procession activating the bells of Tufts’ Goddard Chapel and more, inviting students to participate in TUAG events is an accessible way to enrich your curriculum and deepen learning. There are many ways to connect with your classes:
Below you will find a summary of the season’s events. Enjoy the much-deserved break and please reach out to reserve group tickets or learn more about making TUAG programming part of your courses next semester! Liz |
