Closing the Book on Ulises: Assembly, Last Chance for Fall Programs, + What’s on The Horizon |
|
It’s hard to believe October has come to a close! It has been a busy month here at TUAG, with programs ranging from an archival book conception workshop with artist and designer Lizania Cruz to a panel on abolitionist practices with partner organization Boston Ujima Project and Tisch College of Civic Life. To kick off November at TUAG / Boston, our workshop series with curated Ulises partners will wrap up with “B2B, Books displaying Books,“ a bookmaking class from the Amsterdam-based BB Workshop from Gerrit Rietveld Academie/Sandberg Instituut (register here). Next, join us for Drag, Kinship, and Mourning, a conversation and screening in conjunction with Tomashi Jackson: Across the Universe with Tufts Department of Performance Studies Professor and drag artist Kareem Khubchandani, director of opera, music-theater, and music video Alexander Gedeon, artist Tomashi Jackson, and curator and art historian Rebecca Uchill. Register for these upcoming programs and explore more news from TUAG below. |
