TUAG Awarded $100,000 Grant from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts |
Tufts University Art Galleries are thrilled to announce that we have received a $100,000 grant from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. This grant will support TUAG’s upcoming two years of programming, which center a curatorial approach of artistic research with, of, and for artists, students, and the Greater Boston community. We are so proud that TUAG has grown into a vital resource for civic-minded arts programming and innovative scholarship that unites artists, scholars, and students across disciplines, and incredibly thankful for The Foundation’s commitment to helping TUAG remain a leading center for the arts on campus and in Greater Boston. Medford Galleries Reopen July 30th! |
We’re so excited to welcome you back to our Medford galleries in less than a month for the opening of Tomashi Jackson: Across the Universe, the first mid-career retrospective of the Cambridge-based artist and educator. Influenced by California muralist traditions, Jackson creates vibrant prints, paintings, videos, textiles, and sculptures that powerfully scrutinize systemic inequities found throughout U.S. history. |
