In conjunction with Art for the Future: Artists Call and Central American Solidarities, Dr. Katrina Burgess, Director of the Henry J. Leir Institute and Associate Professor of Political Economy at Fletcher School will present a talk, Transnational Roots of Displacement in Central America, that examines how U.S. policies since the 1980s helped create the conditions that are driving Central Americans from their homes today.
